Rick Buskens is a technical manager at Google, where he manages a team developing software tools and services for Google’s technical infrastructure, including the Google Cloud Platform. Prior to joining Google, Rick led teams doing basic and applied research in software engineering at both Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories and Bell Labs. Rick has also dabbled in applied research, developing software tools for manufacturing (including 3D printing and robotics), military health care, brain-inspired computing, and networking. Rick holds a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
